I happened to come across some of this guys WHA/NHL stats, and he put up some solid numbers, even with his short 5 year + 4 game NHL career.
WHA Stats: Regular Season Totals: GP: 369 G: 283 A: 283 Pts: 566 Playoffs: 48 33 30 63
NHL Stats Regular Season Totals: 317 146 198 344 Playoffs: 25 7 5 12
Any idea why his NHL career was so short? Was it age?
He put up great numbers in the WHA. Including 4 100+ seasons, and 1 200+ point season.

Many argued that his deterioration was more mental fatigue or simply a flickering desire to continue playing, as opposed to an erosion of his physical skills."
