Posted - 01/11/2004 : 21:08:38 For your information visit the HECC site and you will see that the Franklin GFM 8000 is certified by them. http://www.hecc.net/certprods.goal.html The HECC certification program validates the manufacturers certification that the equipment has been tested and meets the requirements of the most up-to-date performance standard.

Posted - 03/07/2003 : 09:03:39 When looking for a mask theres one rule I find important. Make sure its certified! Some guys can really hammer pucks and they usually loose control sending them at your bean. Franklin has a tendancy to make cheap products. They dont cost a whole lot but can break when you need them the most. Also if you take a puck to the head you want something thats going to absorb the impact w/o making you head spin and ring for a while. Like most ppl have said go with Itech. Even though it looks like some kind of corperate plug being that thats who sponsors this web site I can tell you im not one of them and recomend thier products. They are resonably priced, very well protecting, they look great, and are easily found at almost all website merchants. |

Posted - 02/09/2003 : 05:49:24 Have not heard much about the franklins, but you may want to look into vaughan masks. I bought one this year and have been using it up to 4 times a week and love it. Breathability and vision are both great. |

Posted - 02/01/2003 : 18:47:25 Have any of you heard anything, good or bad, about Franklins THT Pro GFM 8000 Carbon Composite Mask? Its their top of the line goalie mask and seems to be very similar in materials etc. as all of the other high end masks on the market. |

Posted - 01/22/2003 : 14:51:40 one word... Itech... and don't let some joker trick you into getting plastic. You want a metal cage with a white coating for the best breathability and visability. |
