Bob has finally changed his passive approach to the Canadiens dwindling playoff chances. While the habs are in fifth but 4 points out of ninth Big Bob Boozy has finally remeberd he runs this team.
Now adding a boy from the old glory days is not what i had in mind and is not whats has me chuggin beers like its spring break and running like a track star after the bandwagon. It is the decision to tell Mr. Kovalev: "hey bud yeah we don't need your attitude in our dressing room or on the ice". Telling this joke of a hockey player to stay home because noone can see him helping our team was a stroke of genious. (that should have come months ago) Now if we can dish him off before the deadline to a team crazy enough to take him i will personaly deliver a fruit basket to Bob's door.
Not to mention he also got rid of another player whoes attitude is less than desirable and on ice play even less so. Mr. Sergei Kostitsyn please take a seat on the quickest bus to Hamilton, and no we will not be throwing this Bulldog anymore bones. Mr. Gregory Stewart however congradulations playing hard and strong everyday all day. Stwart is being given a shot when maybe he is not the best man for the job but i'll take a worker anyday over the Belarusian underachiever. All in all no cup for the habs this year even if we add more at the deadline. As a True Fan I say we take care of all the free agents that we want now and sell the rest off. Obviously this will not happen but i cannot see at least kovalev making this team any better in the playoffs,, and do not say last year he carried us because i'll counter with every other year hes been a hab i can't smell stanly but i smell a better team!

Sounds like a less respected version of Jagr at his worst...

Kovalev may be one of the most talented players to play the game, ever. At times is a coach's dream player, making player look silly with highlight reel dangles and sniping top corner with a rocket of a wrist shot. Other times, a lazy, soft, no work ethic, bad team attitude type of guy who at times takes the stupidest penalties you'll ever see and frusterating an organization to the point where he is sat.

The Habs believed in him for 5 years and after last year with him finally becoming the player he can, to going completely down hill this year, the Habs can't wait around they need to move forward. Maybe he can clear his head and get back to being the star he can be or he will be shipped out ASAP.

Holy rant Batman!!! Pasty try a little punctuation pal. I could barely understand what you were saying but I think I got the point:

"Gainey grab some balls and get rid of Kovalev"
