Word is some Chinese guy in Toronto has a Bionic foot on ice and as soon it is fitted to Forsbergs size he will be in a Maple Leaf uniform. He is getting a face lift first though and changing his name to Steve Austin.

I hadnt heard anything of Sundin returning to the NHL, but either way both him and Forsberg dont have anything left.

the last time he played in the NHL he played 9 games and scored 14 points,, hell yeah i want to see him play the game again, he is 36 i would love to see him play a complete season next year aswell we are talking about one of the best and most complete players of all time and personally at my age i didn't get to see enough of him when i was a kid even if he is playing at 50 % we re still going to be watching a fantastic player, perhaps the player Crosby most resembles is Froppa!!

My comment is that I'd rather Forsberg retire, end of story. I doubt his comeback is gonna be anything more than two or three game, relapse into injury, going to a doctor to get a new boot re-fitted to his club foot, skating again, more trade rumours, plays half a game then sits out with a mysterious injury, makes a statement about possible retirement now, two weeks later comes back and gets three points in an Avalanche win, a week later out with injury again . . .

. . . I am telling you guys, this is the Neverending Story, the Song that Never Dies, the Eternal Comeback.

You don't need daytime soaps, it's all right here unfortunately!

Where are the Leaf fans with their comments:
He'd be a good fit with the Leafs.....

And Sundin. They're going to all be the Av's second line.

I voted no, only because i'm sick of hearing these rumours. Admittedly, if he's actually practicing with them, perhaps there's a better chance than in the past, but i won't hold my breath. Is he bringing his buddy Nazzy with him?

Yeah i should of been more specific in my previous post...IF he feels he can still compete at a high level, then yes i want to see him come back. But if he's going to be a shadow of his former self, then no i would rather see him stay retired. He proved he could still play when he came back last time, i believe he put up something like 14 or 15 points in 9 games...but that was 3 years ago now.

I was surprised that he was practicing with the Av's already! They kept that under wraps pretty well... I don't know if he's capable of a comeback at this stage, his ankles haven't gotten any better and he's 36 now...

I don't want him to..
He's just like JR, trying to relive the dream, he's
too old and injured ! Not fun to watch play anymore.

I hope so, i'd like to see him back in the NHL again...
