First are those really the current lines? Is Semin playing with Ovie? and is Cooke on the top line with Crosby/Malkin? (I guess that doesn't matter). Stafford with Vanek and Roy?
Second I'd add Cammalleri, Whichever Center, Iginla, and Parise, Zajac, Langenbrunnger. Those lines have been on fire. This is if you're picking just the best current lines. Also Prospal, Vinny, StLouis should be considered as well even though the teams has been terrible. And on the year it'd be hard to deny Lucic, Savard, Kessel.
Coming back to the poll though: add the best back line and you'll see how Ovechkin's and Thornton's gets incredible support and the Alfy, Heatley, Spezza line has none.
Thornton, Marleau, Setoguchi - Boyle, Blake, Ernhoff, Vlasic
Ovechkin, Backstrom, Semin - Green
Gagne, Richards, Knuble - Timonen, Coburn
Cooke, Crosby, Malkin - Whitney (only recently), Goligoski
Vanek, Roy, Stafford - ??? Spacek, Lydman???
Spezza, Heatley, Alfy - ??? Kuba, Picard??? |

I said Ovechkins the reason why Ovechkin is leading the league in goals and Semin and Backstrom are having career seasons. Malkins and heatleys are good too |
