Which team currently down 2 games to none has the best chance to come back and win the series?

Can I vote for Philly. They have the best chance of coming back. After losing the next game of course, they will have the Bruins just where they want them

Im saying Detroit because Tampa Bay will not back off. They are way stronger than Washinton in the post-season. If you look ast San Jose, Detroit can out skate them, out pass them. San Jose can back off. Detroit have all their stars back.

A lot of people are saying Detroit because they still have both their home games but this playoffs home ice advantage haven't been much of an advantage. I said Washington because I think they have the best team and they are playing the worst opponent.

Detroit because they haven't lost at home yet this series.

Did they not used to play back to back, then travel day, then back to back in the 80's?

Ya, after the 2 game layoff for the Bos / Mont - games 6 & 7 were back to back as well.

Speaking of scheduling, TB and Washington play tonight AND tomorrow night. No break between games.

Washington might be golfing by Thursday.

My bad, thought they played Sun.

Yes, they last played Saturday and now play tonight, Tuesday, I think that had more to do with the election yesterday and CBC broadcasting that then any time zone stuff.

This happened with Bos / Mtl as well. Lady Caca caused the Bos one, what's the deal with the Det series? The downtime can only work in Det favor, giving them ample healing / rest time.

Probably due to travel time. The series is 3000km and 3 time zones apart... VAN/NSH have the same deal. I think you easterners forget how far apart the western teams are

WHAT??? You're not implying that they're old are you?

I have to add the scheduling sucks. Detroit had what? 6-7 days off and now get 2 days between games?

Can you add Philly now to this?

I am truly surprised that the #1 and #2 seeds int he East could lose both home games right off the bat in their respective series . . .very, very weird.

I would say Detroit, but they have a huge advantage over the other teams - they are going home, as opposed to on the road. Statistically, they have a much much better chance than both Washington and Philly.

Still, if Boston can do it, going 0 fer on the pp, anyone can.

I'd say Detroit because Washington dropped their two games on home ice and now have to come back while playing on the road. Detroit, conversely, now has home-ice advantage.

Experience and pedigree...you can never count Detroit out.

Beans15 Posted - 05/02/2011 : 14:14:01
Given these two choices, I say Detroit as well. For no other reason but coaching. They have one of the best, if not the best coach in the NHL today. If anyone can change the performance of a team, it's Mike Babcock.

Poor Mr. Magoo (Boudreau) will keep on trying the same tactics and get the same results. I am not a TB fan but I sure will be happy if they pull out that win.

Detroit, Because they're Detroit?
Guest6455 Posted - 05/02/2011 : 13:05:00
Detroit has lost by only one goal both games. Howard has been standing on his head. They'll get back home and be fired up. If they can get their offense going San jose won't be able to stop them.
