Whether it be bringing a team back into being a playoff contender, or keeping a hot team going, which coach has done the best job so far this season?

Buffalo is no longer that mediocre team that has a great coach. They are a dominant team with a great coach. If we are talking strictly coaching, then I would have to vote for Maurice - Noone expected Toronto to be this good. It might just be a 20 game mirage, but we will find out one way or another. Guy Carboneau and Alain Vigneault should also get condsideration. Do you remember the mess that Montreal was in last season when Gainey had to step behind the bench. Carboneau took over full time this year and has doen a great job. And Vigneault has taken a team who can't score and has managed to maintain a .500 record.

Paul Maurice brought a struggling toronto franchise back to where they are supposed to be!
