I know you are trying to be funny but Ali is not the best. Ask any boxing fan and they will tell you that he fought at a favorable time. Marciano but he doesn't get the credit.

Has to be Semenko, nobody was that intimidating or dominating.

Gotta agree with Stan Jonathan. I don't think Bouchard was ever the same.

I'm not even sure why this is in dispute. Muhammed Ali, obviously.

I'd second Chara. Don't think he's ever lost a fight... Then again, with that much reach advantage, it would be hard for him to do so.

According to hockeyfights, in the ones with enough votes, he's got:
11 Wins (Harrison, Rupp, Thorburn, Valabik, Artyukhin, Koci, Latendresse, Lecavalier (lol), Ivanans, Gleason, Cairns)
6 Draws (Neil, Gaustad, Laracque, Brashear, Brennan, Simon)
0 Losses

Pretty good, considering his wins are mostly against goons from the minors looking to make a name for themselves by taking him out and his draws are mostly against known heavyweights.

Of the choices on the (really odd) list, I'd go with Probert.

Coming at it from a "who cares" angle, I would have to pick a player not on the list, and one who doesn't really care to fight: Zdeno Chara.

He is probably the strongest/toughest guy in the NHL. He rarely fights, but when engaged, it's usually quite lopsided.

He's too valuable to his team to be fighting, and at the same time, there are few players who want to mix it up with Chara.
