My guess is obviously Thorton and Marleau but I'm also thinking about Nylander and Jagr. NYR will stay in the playoffs for a while and I think Nylander and Jagr will rack up most of the points that NYR gets. Plus, I have Jagr in my pool

Well i think it will be Scott Gomez i have no reason to pick but i have a feeling and i have him in my pool with Rafalski and Brodeur (I also got Drury and Marleau and Schneider)

Viktor Kozlov is my hero
Mikhailova Posted - 04/22/2007 : 14:22:22
Good point Guest. The result comes down to who is on the teams that are most likely to stay in the playoffs longer. Ordinarily I'd say Crosby would win this, but I didn't think the Pens would get far so he'd have less time to get points. That's why I went with Thornton. Second in the regular season for points and on a team that will go far = playoff point leader.
Guest4009 Posted - 04/22/2007 : 11:21:55
Briere or Selanne would be my picks, simply because they have the best teams and will likely make it to the finals. I love Joe Thornton, but the guy is useless when the pressure is on for some reason. He always folds in the playoffs, as well as World Cups, Olympics, etc. Not a big-game player, although like I said, I personally admire the guy greatly.

Heatley. The I think the Sens are just about to get it going agian in the playoffs, and heatley will lead the way.

I agree with Thorton, but I don't think Datsyuk will do much. He only has 1 point and it's an assist. Plus, that was his first playoff point in 5 years.

What do you mean? I thought you were a canucks fan? He got 2 points last night, and is starting to heat up. He is taking the scoring title!

GO CANUCKS GO #1!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Don't kid yourself. Do you not realize that that one game was actually over two games long so two points isn't so great. Plus honestly you'd rather have him over Marleau, Thornton, Briere, Drury etc.
Guest4165 Posted - 04/12/2007 : 17:00:19
THORNTON takes it all!

I lucked out and got Thornton and Marleau in my draft. Forsberg, too, but obviously, I hope I don't have him after the first round. Also picked up Rivet, and snagged Nabokov as my goalie at 2 Pts./ win + 2 Pts./SO. I know there's someone out there who will be proud of me. Anyway, Sharks all the way, led by the leading playoff scorer in 2007, JOTHO!!
Saku Steen Posted - 04/12/2007 : 14:25:51
I think Thornton or Datsyuk.

Viktor Kozlov is also my hero!!!

Joe Thornton will be the point getter, but Buffalo will win the Cup...

Briere because the Sabres are awesome - so deep. In the west, look for Selanne to tear it up. He's a perfect fit for that team, and they have the two best defencemen in the league.
Patchy Posted - 04/10/2007 : 19:04:17
I say Patrick Marleau, he's just always so good in the playoffs and this year he will take the Sharks to the finals and the scoring title.

THERE IS NO WAY THAT THE WILD WILL BEAT THE DUCKS - GABORIK will END THE PLAYOFFS WITH % POINTS
jbraiter Posted - 04/10/2007 : 18:26:37
ok you guys will think i am crazy, but its going to happen. Naslund is going to wake up come back from three years ago and take the scoring title!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
tctitans Posted - 04/10/2007 : 17:05:48
I hate to follow the trend, but I say Briere.

Will be a player who is in the Cup Final. With no determination of that yet I have to go with other.

When life gives you lemons throw them at the Ottawa Senators and their fans and hope it gets them in the eyes ;)
BigShow Posted - 04/10/2007 : 15:47:41
Briere most likely.
Kashmire Posted - 04/10/2007 : 15:10:14
Briere will lead Buffalo to the cup.
-oil-country- Posted - 04/10/2007 : 15:09:19
I'd say Marleau he is one of the most clutch players in the league last playoffs he had 14 in points in 11 games. Briere close second with Big Joe right behind him.
Leafs Rock Planet Posted - 04/10/2007 : 14:43:53
For sure not crosby. pens wont even make it past the first round. Thornton or Briere

Always next year!!
bablaboushka Posted - 04/10/2007 : 14:41:04
Either Briere or Marleau ()
bonfire420 Posted - 04/10/2007 : 14:38:48
Daniel Briere just because I think Buffalo will make it to the cup finals this year and he sees the ice so damn well!
Mikhailova Posted - 04/10/2007 : 14:12:11
I'm going with Thornton. He's been on fire recently and I think he can pull it off. Sid has no playoff experience, which isn't to say he won't get the most points, but I'm going to go Joe for this one. SJ might get to the final round and Thornton might have the most points, but win Buffalo wins it it won't matter
semin-rules Posted - 04/10/2007 : 14:07:27
I'm going to say Gaborik on this one. He is on a great team that will go far and he will be their source of most of their goals. Thorton second.
