It would be in the wings best interest to go their seperate ways with Dom.....Jiggy is a free agent this summer, and they should try and get him long term, rather than get 1 more year out of Hasek....
I think hasek should pack it in and leave on a decent note, instead of turning into Cujo (I'm aware Cujo is younger, but Cujo's washed up, and I don't want Hasek to wind up that way).

Sugar Ray over Hasek any day!

I think it could go either way. Like statsny said...he is very inconsistent and someitmes isnt good when you need him to be. On the other hand, when he does play on his A game, he his a very skilled goalie. So i'm saying stay for about 1-2 more years and retire happy

He's so inconsistent and hes old enough he should retire

what do Calgary and a tea bag have in common- they're both only good for one cup

Stay on Detroit. He is a good goalie.

Victory awaits him who has everything in order--luck, people call it. Defeat is certain for him who has neglected to take the necessary precautions in time; this is called bad luck.

He could stay for another year, or he could go out now and not have to worry about imjuries or anything else for next year. It would be smart for him to hang em' up after a great season like this.

Hasek should stay. He's got at least another year left in him. He's getting older, but he's still playing quite well. Stay with the Wings.
Leafs Rock Planet Posted - 05/26/2007 : 08:02:23
I also say one more year for Mr. Hasek. He is still performing at a very high level considering his age.

Forecheck+Backcheck= Paycheck!!!

He doesn't look to bad right now and could even ask for serious money because of his stellar season. Leafsfan says 1 more year at 1.25 mill.

When life gives you lemons throw them at the Ottawa Senators and their fans and hope it gets them in the eyes ;)

I think he should stay with the Wings for one more year and retire next year even though he is 42 years old he is still dominating
