Ellis or Mason?

and the fact that all souray has is a canon of a shot and otherwise is probaly the most useless d man in the league,,,,

I went with Schneider and Pronger.

My next choice would be Rafalski and Lidstrom, but, i think it's mainly Lidstrom that makes Rafalski. :/

Rafalski is a good defensemen, but... Schneider and Pronger are both better. Not better than Lidstrom, but than Rafalski.

It is tough to go against Detroit's pair on this one.

But I will go with Gonchar/Whitney, age, and youth, Whitney is learning a lot from Gonchar at this time, and soon will be the lead on the Pittsburgh power play...

Okay thats not the only reason, I have them in my hockey pool, and I need them to get as many points as possible...

I don't necessarily agree with everything I say.

1st of all Detroit wins in my books with Anaheim right on there tail and everyone else is left in the dust.
2ndly neither Kaberle or McCabe are good defensively and are both decent offensively but both Anaheim's and Detroit's duos are great defensively and offensively.

Bot sayinf I think they are, but I think Kaberle and McCabe should be in that list.
They truly play well together.

I would put Beauchemin ahead of Schnieder for Ananhiem. He's leading the league(with Pronger 2nd) in TOI/game.

However, based on team success and individual performace, Detroit has the best 1-2 punch. Mainly because they have the leagues best defenseman by a landslide.

Wayne or Bobby?? How about both!!!

I'm still deciding between Anaheim and Detroit. Both have amazing top 2 defensemen!

Ellis or Mason?
