I will never forget the look on the queens face when she dropped the puck in Vancouver. On one side, pretty boy Marcus Naslund, then she looks at Ricci and almost comes out of her skin. But those of you who go back a little ways might remember a guy named Gordy Mark. He played junior in Kamloops and in the big show for Hartford.....by far the ugliest man to ever play the game.

I was looking at hockey cards with my kids the other day and when we got to Kopitar they made sure to let me know that he was one ugly dude lol!

I haven't seen Zach Stortini named on this thread yet. I like his game but man he is the epitome of goon...his looks and his play. His handlebar moustache is a really nice touch this year. I like that he has got out of his teddy bear fighting technique.

Definately, Ricci could make a good living doing those geico caveman commericals.

I think darius kasparitus deserves an honorable mention

Do you get your rocks off with these kind of posts? I would have to say its kinda gay that you care this much about proper english in a hockey forum. Most hockey players cant even turn on a computer (well that might be a stretch but you get the point) and on a hockey website your probably going to have allot of hockey guys that really dont care about grammer, spelling and all the other little gay things you nit pick about. And yes i have read the forum rules.

Now that ive said my piece ill have to vote Jaosn Blake. He looks lie hes never seen the sun.

Priceless! haha

but yea, ugliest player? um...what about Donald Brashear?

Yeah well when people said Tim Hunter, Mike Ricci, Lanny MacDonald and more I thought it didn't matter if I threw Gino Odjick in there.

The ugliest player playing in the NHL right now is probably Rod Brind'Amour.

It doesn't really matter if we don't follow the topic to the letter. It's a discussion and discussion tends to derail most of the time.

It's kind of funny that I see this topic. I have never thought about it myself, but just these evening my girlfriend seen Jarkko Ruutu on tv, during the Sens vs MTL game. And she referred to him as the ugliest man alive. Haha.

So I voted Ruutu, for her I guess.

I remember a reporter asking Tim Hunter how many times his nose has been broken. He looked into the camera and said "Never, why?". The reporter didn't know what to say so Hunter says "I was born this way, I have my mothers nose." It still makes me giggle
