Posted - 11/18/2005 : 09:58:04 Anyone surprised that Brian Burke got rid of Fedorov? He was not a fan of Fedor in Vancouver and it seems Sergei fell out of favor as well. It was a great move by Burke to free up some cap room. An extra 4.5M can get you a great player in today's NHL. Sergei had some great years in Detroit: Stanley Cups, 100 point seasons, Hart, Selke, and Pearson trophies, but it seems that is all behind him.
