Poll Question:
I miss the days of the Nordiques, Jets, and Whalers.
If it were up to you, to bring back one of the teams, which would it be?

| Bring back the Jets! Winnipeg is a hockey mad city, we have a good arena and the team that moved out of here had like 5000 people going to each game |

There was once a license plate in Toronto that abbreviated "Go Leafs" it read "Golfs". |

Skrew them 3 and give one to Saskatchewan, Im from Edmonton and half the seats are sold to people from sask so im sure the team would be sold out everynight  i hear theres alot at Flames games too so i honestly dont know how people can question if a NHL team would survive there |

I would love to see the Whalers come back too. Hartford is on a mission to bring professional hockey back to town. They've even built a new arena.

Even though I am a big advocate of the bring back the Jets, I would like to see Quebec get a team back. They have the population and already supply a large membership of NHL players especially goaltenders. I also believe the provincial and federal governments have already spoken throught he media about supporting the franchise in Quebec, which has not been the case in Winnipeg. You add it all up, population ravinous fan base and government support, Quebec has all this in spades well above the other possibles. IMHO bring home both the Jets and Nordiques.
I have no oppinion about a Hartford team as I really havent thought about them since the move to Dallas which, to me, was a smart business decision. Same with the Quebec move at the time of the move to Colorado. |
