We have 2 agree that scott nydermayer is one of the best defenseman in the NHL right now. but linstrom is pretty good this year2 and how about sheldon souray with his many pp goals but he has to improve in his defensive zone.

nydermayer is better than phaneuf but phaneuf is younger so i woould pick him for the next years.

Niedermayer leads with points over Phaneuf 45 to 35, but Phaneuf leads Niedermayer in +/-, 16 to 10...we know who leads the two in hits...

I think Dion is showing determination and he is contributing to his team a lot, keeping the forwards from getting into the zone....

| Scott Niedermayer. Chara can hit the hardest but Niedermayer has to be the best all-around defenseman...he can play well and he's got lots of points. |
