Well that was an exciting 24 hours.
The web site was operational during the last 24 hours but unfortunately it was unaccessible. Long story short, we lost connectivity to the site and thus people could not reach it (unfortunately we had no control over it) . We are back in business now and we are taking measures to ensure that does not happen again. All pools and data are intact and everything is running.
Good news. We fixed the Split Trades bug. You now start collecting points for the acquired player starting the day after the trade. Also the start and end dates are working now too.
As always feedback is welcome.
Cheers!

Split Trades.....
Hello there,
I was wondering what the rules are for the split trade. When a player is added, does he get points for that day, or does it start the day after? For example, I dropped Eric Lindros and added Mike Peca on Feb. 3, 2004. That night, Mike Peca gets 3 points, but I get no points. Is this accurate?
Thanks,
Steve
BTW. Great job guys, this is going to be an awesome site!

Hello,
Thanks, we're liking the way the site is shaping up too. Lots of work ahead of us but it's slowly unfolding.
In split trades you get the points of the traded player up to and including the trade date. After the trade date, you get the points of the acquired player.
If you are experiencing problems with your pool email support@pickuphockey.com and we can look at any specific issues then.
Cheers! |
