Callahan is gone again, for a big guy he seems to break easy, first hand now ankle, I'm thinking of picking him up in my keeper next year, i hope this is not a sign of things to come.

would you have him in your keeper?

As I said in another thread, this is a devastating injury for the Rangers. Callahan is their best forward, the heart & soul of the team. He's annually among the league leaders in both hits & blocked shots, which unfortunately does make him more susceptible to injury. Did you see the replay of last nights injury? I don't care who you are, if you have Zdeno Chara walking into a bomb like that, bones will be broken. His previous injury was also the result of blocking a shot (Letang).

Hopefully the Rangers can find a way to overcome this latest injury. Callahan is such a valuable player to them. As I said he hits, blocks shots, is 2nd on the team in both goals & points (while playing 15 less games than Dubi), plays on the top PP and PK units, etc. Time for Marian Gaborik to step up...

I would definetly keep him, I think he has great potential and will be a good pickup for the future.

Callahan is actually fairly small by NHL standards, in the 5'10 - 5'11 range, about 180-185 pounds.
