| first of all if savard was not ready to come back then why was i playing lacrosse with him last summer for 12 weeks.(by the way that is a contact sport) and if crosby wants to sit on the sidelines because of his concussion then take his paycheck away (because that is what would happen to the rest of us) and see how long it would take for him to return. |

You know I was wondering the same thing when I was boinking Pamela Anderson.

All braggadocio aside, it was this season that Savard got concussed quite possibly for good, he was cleared for play at last year's playoffs. I am assuming that meant he would be clear to play lacrosse with you, Bob Marley and Barney the Dinosaur last summer.
I get accused of 'leading personal attacks' and trying to 'Disguise them with wit and humor', but when posts like these come up, I prefer to think of it as my inherent right to able to answer silliness with silliness.
Why is it so hard to believe that Crosby is actually doing exactly what he is supposed to be doing, recovering. He practices, he should play, he sits, he shouldn't get paid?
I echo the thoughts of others, I would rather see him sit now and play for 10-15 more years, then see him come back too soon, and possibly never play again. |

Really Guest if you got injured you would not get paid??? I don't know what kind of whole in the wall company or industry you are in, but its called worker's comp & the vast majority of us besides yourself receive it if we are unable to make an income do to work related injury & your insurance will pay you an income if you where to get into a car accident etc.
By the way Guest Crosby makes 3 times the income in endorsements & par taking in corporate galas etc then he does in his salaries.
It is evident that with some of you the lights are on & nobody is home. You want to break a guys balls over a shoulder injury, hand, ankle I get that, but if any of you have a grand parent with Alzheimer's & they look at you with out knowing who the h**l you are you may feel differently about putting a 23yr old kid in a position where he suffers blackouts & brain loss the rest of his life. Some of you seriously need to get off the whining train, he gets paid good money blah blah he owe's us this & that. The only thing this guy owes us is to perform at a high level & represent himself & his country with pride. Alot of superstars won't even sign a kids autograph or acknowledge their fans while this guy goes out of his way to please his fans & the fans of the league and there is still people out there like you guest's who are will always be pretentious & cantankerous.
By the way thanks for the tip that Lacrosse is a contact sport i'll be sure to pass it on to my buddies in the NLL

Man, i've been worried all week. I've been having this seriously sick feeling that FER had changed. I hadn't seen his usual amount of humour and wit. Nothing even worthy of QOTM (quote of the month) and figured one of his good ones from a week or two ago would end up winning for April.
