Ryan Clowe didn't fly with the Sharks to Detroit and is expected to miss tonight's game. Tough break for SJ as Clowe has been arguably their best player and is tied for 1st overall in playoff scoring to this point with Kesler and St. Louis!

ETA...the article does mention the possibility that Clowe will be or has been flown to Det, on a later flight than his team mates? Be interesting to see if he plays.

It's selfish, I know . . . but I hope he doesn't play. I don't have him in any of my pools, yet I need San Jose to win.
For San Jose - yeah, it's a blow, but I have a feeling it'll be all Marleau tonight after those Jeremy Roenick comments. He will want to make a statement, and he has the chops to do it.

Good news for us Nux fans, we need DET to push SJ to the limit, get more rest for the Nux. As for Clowe, I don't want to sound like a Douche here but, I hope he stays out, if the Nux play against the Cloweless Sharks, it would be much better than a Clowefull Sharks. Right?
