Correct me if i'm wrong but in an effort to reach the cap floor phoenix trades a 1.9 cap hit (stempniak) for a 4.5 cap hit (langkow).... three teams still sit under the cap floor (colorado, NYI, and the Jets).
the Jets have a mere 15,000 to fill so nothing to worry about there, but my question is how do you think the other two fill out their rosters with a couple million needed each?
Horcoff would fit nicely with any team who is looking for the salary floor as well.
When is the date the teams have to be at the cap(both high and low)??? Washington is currently over the cap by a nearly a million and Buffalo is over by $3.4 million. With the JVR signing, Philly has just $175k of cap space.
