What should have been a big game (as speculated by the schedule makers), the final regular season game between the Habs and Leafs has no impact on the post-season.
But the game still has meaning though.
The Canadiens will finish in either 28th or 29th spot overall (same as the Oilers), but the Leafs could finish as high as 23rd or as low as 28th.
What to do? Do the Leafs sent out a Marlies line-up! :)
I hardly doubt that either team will tank the game, but it will be interesting to see which team battles the hardest!

Do they have anything other than a Marlies lineup?

They can actually finish between 24th and 27th and not 23rd and 28th.
Leafs and Ana. both have 80 points....leafs have 1 more regulation win than Ana. but are 1 spot behind them in the standings ( i`m glad they are ) but why i wonder ???
I thought that if 2 teams are tied in points, the team with more regulation wins finishes ahead...guess not.

For that tie breaker wins in shootout doesn't count. So on nhl.com there is a ROW column and those are wins without the shootout. So the tiebreaker is base on that.
