These were all pretty recent. I can't remember who or what team or even when but there was a save when the goalie was just holding the tip of his stick diving cross crease to save the puck with the paddle in the air. It was one of the top 64 plays of all time competition (where they compare significant plays of all sports vs one another like Dwight Clark's catch vs the Maradonna run...) on the Score. It should have been a significant game too like the playoffs or finals.

I beleive you are thinking of Cujo w/ the Oilers on Joe Nieuwendyk v. Dallas in '98. Later in that game, Todd Marchant scored in overtime to win the series. I remember shedding a tear. Not certain on the year.
