The commentary is in French which some of you may understand. Nonetheless you can clearly see what happens. I have never seen this before in 42 years of watching hockey.
Living in the Yukon we used to split pucks fairly often. I don't know what the commentators were saying but we just assumed it was a temperature thing. Too damn cold!
I've seen a puck split before but not for half a goal. As odd as this play is, the call is pretty straight-forward. As the saying goes "The entire puck has to cross the line".
