Poll Question:
There have been many players this year who have not be playing to their full potential. These players have been looking rather slow and are not producing the numbers that their coaches are looking for. Which of these players needs to start to step it up?

I picked Vanek, maybe unfairly, based on the amount of money he is currently being paid.
Bergeron is injured, I can't fault him. He was doing okay before Jones put his head through the boards. |

| I wanted to give Vanek 3/4 of a point and Blake 1/4 just because Blake is on one of my teams. To be fair, you should have expected a drop in Vaneks production. He lost two key players from his team and Afinegenov seems to have dropped off the face of the planet on him. And also to be fair to Blake it's no ones fault but your own for expecting a big year out of 10 year vetern who just had his first decent season last year. |

| If you could humor me in scrolling up about 6 inches you'll see that Jason Blake was one of the options and Rob Blake wasn't mentioned in the least. |

Jason Blake - cancer and 14 points.
Tomas Vanek - no cancer and 10 points.
Scott Gomez - no cancer and 10 points.
Man, you Leaf fans are tough. Blake should probably not even be playing, and he's still outperforming a slug like Vanek or a super-slug who plays with Jagr with 10 points.
Blake shouldn't even be on the list, really. |

Poor ol' Vanek, they sneaked him off of the Oil, and the guy can't take over the team. He shouldn't be expected to, but people wanted him taking a bigger, more prominent role this year, and to date, he has not.
Habs get number 25 this year |
