Zdeno Chara was named captain of the Bruins:

I think Boston will be this years most improved team. Although I understand things can't get much worse for them. The additions of Chara and Savard might help bring Glen Murray back to his old self. And with Bergeron and Boyes, Boston could be playoff bound if their goaltending can deliver.

I don't like Chara being captain... I think they could have had someone better but like you say goon, their season will be made or broken by their goaltending.

I agree Saku Steen, Crosby is too young to have the C. It should go to Recchi or Gonchar. |

I agree, I don't think Chara is good enough for the "C" he is a good "A" but he doesnt have enough skill and hes not the right player for "C"
