Posted - 08/31/2011 : 10:52:33 Correct me if i'm wrong but in an effort to reach the cap floor phoenix trades a 1.9 cap hit (stempniak) for a 4.5 cap hit (langkow).... three teams still sit under the cap floor (colorado, NYI, and the Jets).
the Jets have a mere 15,000 to fill so nothing to worry about there, but my question is how do you think the other two fill out their rosters with a couple million needed each?

When is the date the teams have to be at the cap(both high and low)??? Washington is currently over the cap by a nearly a million and Buffalo is over by $3.4 million. With the JVR signing, Philly has just $175k of cap space. |

Posted - 09/01/2011 : 04:58:57 Ha ha ha ha ha . . . I knew a Habs fan or two was going to throw out Gomez's name right away. Classic.
Funny thing is . . . it wouldn't be a bad call for Colorado, perhaps.
I'll give out Komisarek as the Leaf offering . . . I'll take a cheap young gun from the Islanders, say Frans Nielsen for Komi straight up.
