I will say Jonas Gustavsson will play more games.Giguere is bettter overall but last year the Leafs only realy won with Gustavsson in nets.They both are un-concistent but I think the Monster was beter last year.

| I voted for Gigučre because he's getting paid too much to be a backup and plus it will give more time to develop Gustavsson. Something in the range of 45-35 or 50-30 |

you may want to add other - the way TOR goalies go, who knows if both will still be with the Leafs by the end of next year 
As it stands right now, I would think they'll split the games. JS was brought in purely to mentor Gustaffson and allow hit to assume the #1 eventually. |

Now, replying to the poll, it's at least 1 more season of prep for the Monster to be a day to day #1 keeper. I say that Giguere will get the lion's share of the starts if the Leafs are winning and around still around 50ish games if the Leafs are average(which is where I expect them to be unless they sign a few more skill forwards).
So the answer is Giguere. You can't have a $6 million cap hit on the bench for most of the year and Giguere is a better player today. |

I think it'll be a pretty even split, and I think it will be considered a tandem at the end of the year. The second year is even harder for goalies, as other teams look over video and search out all your weaknesses and teams prepare better strategies on what your tendencies are. I think this is one of the myriad of reasons why the goalie position is so much more difficult today.
I predict at least one difficult stretch for the Monster where Giggy takes over, but then they are switched back. Hopefully it just happens mid season!
