Just another thing that's going wrong with the Flames: Iggy trade talks, salary cap troubles, Bouwmeester underperforming, and the whole Brett Sutter mess.
All on top of the fact that the only team behind us in the west is the Oilers...
WHAT NEXT?!?!
There was once a license plate in Toronto that abbreviated "Go Leafs" it read "Golfs".

I honestly don't believe that Olli Jokinen meant to cross-check the opposing player (forget who), in the back of the head.
I believe Jokinen is telling the truth when he says he was hitting him in the back/shoulders, when his stick slid up and hit him in the head. I believe this to be true, and from what I seen in slow-motion, numerous times, it appears to me his stick did slide up. Initial point of contact, being the shoulder pads.
However, you must be in full control of your stick. Also, you should not be cross-checking a player. Especially, not from behind.
Thus, I do believe it warranted a penalty. I'm unsure a three-game suspension was necessary though.
At MOST, a one game suspension would have been plenty. But, I don't believe any suspension was warranted here. Even if, it happened when the whistle had blown and play was completely over.
I'm wondering if C. Campbell just felt compelled to suspend him (2 suspension in one day!), due to the recent talk of him being biased.
Thoughts?
Is Campbell going to start giving out more suspensions now, due to a lot of talk and evidence leaked, of him being biased and what-not?

Side note; it should matter but the NHL doesn't take it into account. That's what I mean

I don't think he meant to either, but this has really summed up the Flames' season.
On the bright side, if we finish last, we can get a really high draft pick.
