I am confused by capgeek and the LTIR provision... is this the only move that BOS needs to make in order to fit Savard and Sturm back under the cap? It seems odd that they only have to dump 1.5M in order to get 7M back...but then again I'm no capologist.

No, Nux, this only gets Savvy back on the ice. They still need to move $ to get Sturm back in the lineup.
