He scored the Cup Winning Goal for the Chicago Blackhawks, and the the game tying goal against Canada in the 2010 Olympics(gave me a heart attack ):

Zach Parise scored the tying goal vs Canada, not Kane - so its just as well you clarified your choice otherwise we wouldn't know who you were picking |

Oops, my bad! At least I was partially right, an American did score the tying goal versus Canada! |

Although still short on D, i'm not gonna let a guy who had back to back to back 50+ goal seasons slip by me and therefore i will pick........

Well, without a pick for awhile after this, i highly doubt this guy will be around for me so i'll take yet another guy who's in the 50 goal club, not to mention the career PPG club.....
Theo Fleury! |

Theo Fleury!
Wow!
I don't really know how to respond to that considering he didn't play a regular season game (just pre-season ones)....
You can have him.

WHOA! My bad, brain fart on my part! Though he played the year following but my reading skills were obviously off when i was reading about him on Wikipedia.
I have no problem switching for another guy as it's likely he'd have already been taken. I wasn't trying to be sneaky and use the exhibition thing as counting. Seeing as DC hasn't picked yet, i'll gladly switch out Theo for another guy. I don't want to win controversially
I will switch him for another 50 goal scorer and career PPG player who played twice for the Canadian Olympic team (would have been 3 if not for a Gary Suter cheapshot) winning gold in SLC......

I was awaiting Awesome One to approve me changing my pick seeing as: 1. the next pick hadn't been selected 2. Fleury likely would have been taken by now 3. Fleury's eligibility is questionable.
I made an honest error and thought he'd played post lockout but it was only during the exhibition season when he attempted his comeback. I don't want controversy with me having selected a guy who may have been taken already therefore i changed my pick to Kariya.
I suggest no one else picks until we settle this. I have no prob keeping Fleury, i just think it'd be more fair to everyone if my pick were changed, especially since it was done before any other picks....... |

I personally think that the pick should be changed, I thought of Fleury a couple rounds ago and double checked that he hadnt played post lockout.

No Fleury, seeing as many thought of him but didn't pick him because of his questionability.
Alex gets Kariya, Nux has the next one.

Yes, toxxik, you're fine, just nuxfan has to repick, because the Fleury pick of Alex was voided.
Alex had Kariya instead, so Nuxfan has to pick now. |

P.S. I'm using my phone and because of complications with the system, can't update the master guide of picks (located at the top of this forum) until later tonight.

Can't believe I get this steal of pick: 30th in all-time scoring, ahead of guys like, Fedorov, Roenick, Brind-Amour, 11pts more than Selanne, and even the above-disputed Theo Fleury, also better-than-point-per-game production:
Pierre Turgeon

I didn't forget and actually considered him with my last pick and if he were still there on my next, maybe? Just don't like his reputation as being "soft". BUT, anyone who puts up 50+ goals and over 130 points in a year is a stud, no if, ands or buts! |
