About avatars . . . I spent a lot of valuable work time making my current Leafs "tomatoes" avatar . . . but after (and only after) the Leafs make the playoffs finally again, I will revert to something more classic and less derisive.
It'll be about the same time as Beans becomes a Leafs fan . . . Oil in botom 5? Check. Kessel and Lupul well on pace to surpass 65 points? Check. Taylor Hall not on pace to reach 35 goals? Check. Kessel on pace to get 38 goals or more? Check. And don't worry, Leafs will make the playoffs too. . .
Hey Beans, any kind of bonus for making a clean sweep in our bet of making 3 out of 5?

| you know beans it is pretty impressive that you have your own thread. even more impressive is that you did not start it. rofl. that being said i have no idea why everyone gives you crap for stating your opinions. it doesnt make sence to me i see you as a very educated hockey fan. on almost every thread i read i see someone calling you arrogant or big headed. i just dont get it. |

Seriously, this is far from the first thread about me and it will not be the last. Most of the Beans threads are "Beans is a %^&$(" or Beans is an idiot and knows nothing or Beans doesn't play hockey so he don't know. Or, my personal favorite, Beans, the hit was to the neck.
Frankly, I love it. I am conformist who will agree very often. I will debate almost anything. There are times where I will debate the other side of something I agree with just because I think it's a great topic. I like to think that I encourage conversation and thought. If people are arguing with me and calling me names, I am doing my job.
Ok, let my climb off my soap box so we can start talking about hockey again. |

I always enjoy when Beans' naysayers call him out and he offers an option to disprove his thoughts....followed usually by his 'crickets chirping' comment. Never fails to make me smile. He bats near 1000 in those exchanges, love it! |

Believe it or not, before WHA expansion/inclusion, I was known to cheer for the buds every now and then too. 
Borje was a regular on Peter Puck and one of my favorites, and nothing beat hearing the stadium announcer's echo of 'NORM-M-M-M ULLMAN-N-N-N!, on HNIC! |

I'm having a hard time with the Beans' new avatar. I want to disagree with him just because I see a photo of Gary Bettman.
The ID name should match the avatar, but if Beans changes his namesake, one can't say his full of himself (full of Beans) anymore! |

I just thought in honor of breaking the 7000 post barrier that I would change my avatar for a bit and mess some people up. I thought Slozo might appreciate the image of a moronic looking Gary Bettman and go easy on me later on.......
It will be back to normal soon enough. |
