From what ive seen I think he will probably pan out to be a second line, type playe. secondary scoring on a good team is what I would categorize him as |

His best season will see him scoring at best 70 points, I think. Between him and Getzlaf, I'd take Getzlaf. |

I was fortunate to see Perry play a lot in London, I never thought that he would amount to much in the NHL, or even be able to play there at all.
When he played junior he was one of those players that could stand still, and stick handle in a phone booth, he did not seem fast, or all that strong.
I think that he has put on some weight, his speed is better, he can still handle the puck, and he seems to have more grit in his game.
70 points sounds about right...
I don't necessarily agree with everything I say. - - Marshall McLuhan

I think he'll be one of those reliable 2nd liners that can produce the points and play on the top line if he needed to. What I'm trying to say is that he'll be guys like brind'amour, St. Louis, Sundin guys like that who rack the points up each year, but not record breaking points.

I'd compare him to Mike Fisher on Ottawa. Good and gritty, but not a superstar.

Fisher is better. I don't think Perry, with his size, should be likened to Fisher. Maybe a lesser version of St. Louis?
huh how the hell do you figure this? perry has 17 goals already, and he is freaking 22...fisher's best year he has 22...dumb answer

since when is st louis not a #1 liner? if he is healthy he can easily score 30 goals and get 30 assists, you don't want on your first line? and that is EASILy, he has shown before he has the talent to score90+ points same thing w/ sundin, his avrages are what 70 pts per year? 30 goals 40 assists something like that? you don't want that as your first line center? give me a break not everyone can have crosby.

huh...on a good team he is the leading scorer, go figure? nice statement there lol. i realize Getzlaf is better as a Ducks fan and will probably get more points, but to see perry as getting 70 pts easily every season is not a stretch w/ around 30-35 goals. Ill take that s*** on my first line every year. |

Habs get number 25 this year
yeah i dont get it???? why are we calling a guy who at 22 is already,, leading the stanly cup champs in scoring and playing on a second line,, i think perry and geztlaf will spend then next 5 year in anahiem lighting up the first line they make a great pair,, just remember the playoffs Geztlaf was dominant but if perry hadn;t been there i dont think he would have been as domineant,,, perry would be a first or second liner on any team in the league and in a few years will be a first liner on any team in the league hands down

lol that is fine that fisher is the est 2nd liner in the game, but perry is a first liner so there is no point in comparing them. and to say they are like spezza/heatley is alright, except for when you watch their playing style. Perry scores half of his goals within 5 feet ofthe crease. They both hit, they both go to the net, they both will fight, but they both need to work on skating andtheirbalance a little more, perry spends at least like 2 total minutes on his ass the entire game lol. |

huh...you are aware he's like 6-3 205 right? he is definitely not underdeveloped either, he is just developing more and more in front of our eyes. he will only get stronger, faster, and become a better skater, the best is still yet to come from perry. |
