To be classified as a superstar forward in the NHL today, how many points do you have to get?

'superstar' status should be reserved only for those who are truly great at what they do. Not just good, or above average. i.e. Joe Thornton put up consecutive 100+ point seasons and Jason Spezza(although perhaps due to injury) has not. They are both big, strong playmakers, but If you are basing it on point production(and it seems you are) then this is my theory

I agree with you, kind of. I think that only if a player has 95+ points, they should be classified as a superstar. Somepeople might even say that 80 is enough.

Usually, a truly great forward, should be able to put up good numbers as well as have a big impact on their team.

I accidentally reset the poll votes when I editted it so it doesn't show mine.
