Now that the ballots have ended, I must admit. One player has surprised me a bit.
Andrei Markov.
He is having a decent season, but he was second in voting in the Eastern Confrenece, (If I read from NHL.com correctly,) behind Crosby! This is a bit surprising for me. But, I will say... Congrats to Markov.
Also, "Crosby, who leads the League with 40 assists, joins Mario Lemieux, Jaromir Jagr, Paul Coffey and Kevin Stevens as Penguins selected to start multiple times."
Crosby joins more elite company in another catagory.

Ya he did surprise me.
I dont know how great of a player he really is.
Has a rocket for a shot and can quarterback a power play.
Skates very well for a rearguard and is capable of leading the rush.
Still needs to perform better against big NHL forwards. Has the occasional blunder in his own zone and is somewhat prone to injury.
He is minus 2 with 29 points.

I have no clue how many. He was close to getting in!
I think someone made a website and it got to the media and spread.
I no that i saw it quite a bit on sportsnet.
