That's an awesome deal and I really want to accept but I'll have to turn it down for a few reasons 1) Hasek is basically useless, he's old and will retire at the end of the year. 2) Your first round pick will be the a late pick most likely so that brings its value down, 3) Osgood, although playing good right now only has a couple good years ahead of him, while turco has 5-8 left 4) A year ago I would have done this no problem but Turco finally proved himself last year in the playoffs.
The only other way I would approve the trade was if Zetterberg or Parise was in that too, which is asking alot.

I don't think so. I had Winchester last year, and let him go. I asked for Hagman for a 2nd round pick and you said no. I like Brodziak and what he will bring to my team. He can step into any position at any time.

Nope, that will put me way way over the cap and I don't think I need him.
Never been a huge Fan of Selanne and I am not willing to give up a steadily improving and very young two way player for an aged sniper for literally 20 games.

Why didn't you propose this deal when Hemsky and Gagner were with Edmonton??? 
Is there some backdoor tomfoolery meetings going on here between some GM's??
This deal was HUGELY in favor of Detroit. Pronger, who is a top 3 d-man in the league, Getzlaf who is very young and a top 20 scorer, and a 1st and 2nd round draft pick for one bonified first liner and a potential first liner.
I think I should call the cops, Leafs_Fan should be charged with robbery! Great deal for you there! |

| Hey Beans I really think Hemsky and Gagner will have really bright futures. Pronger will retire in a couple of years. Getzlaf will have a really bright future. The first round pick isn't always a good pick and 2 round pick will be nothing in my opinion. |

Couple of problems with this.
1) I have a #1 goalie in Bryzgalov, so I don't need Giguere.
2) I think Horcoff is more consistant that Cheechoo.
3) Cheechoo and Giguere would be a combined $9 million hit against my cap while Horcoff and Garon are $4.7 combined.
