this sounds like a keeper pool? If so, I would not do that.
Nash is a great player, no doubt, and individually better than either of Hodgson or Ballard. However, Hodgson is unproven yet, and throwing in picks as well - you're trading a significant portion of your future for Nash. I don't think Hodgson will be as good as Nash, but he certainly has the ability to be a very good player. Who knows what your first and second picks will be.
I think that Schneider has way more upside than Garon. Schneider will, IMO, be a starter in the NHL in 3 years time - almost certainly not for VAN, but somewhere. Garon is at best a tandem goalie on a weak team - he had 2 pretty good non-sequential years, but his best days are behind him.
You could always counter by removing Schneider from the trade - if Schneider were not included I might consider that.

| i'd go for it, just for the pick's alone, burrows and hodgson sould = 1 nash and garon suck's anyway... do it up. |
