           	| Kamikaze, death wish, suicidal, call it what you want, who was the last NHL player to play without a helmet and in what year?
Who was the last goalie to play without a mask and in what year?

                      | Well, theraj, I can answer one of your questions, the last skater to play without donning a brain bucket was Craig "MacT" MacTavish, I believe he retired after the 94/95 season.

                      | Yes, Craig MacTavish was the last to wear a brain bucket while playing for St. Louis in 96-97.
Now we need the answer for the goalie.

                      | I had to wikipedia it, but the year was 1974, and Andy Brown continued to play without a mask into his world hockey association career, earning the nickname "fearless"
