I don't know why but after reading "Searching for Bobby Orr" I want to read more good hockey books. Has anyone read any good hockey books that are worth reading?
Not lately have I read any but I am hoping for the Top 60 since 1967 as well as Hockey's Young Guns for christmas. There was a HUGE article on hockey books in the hockey news a couple issues back.
There's this one book I would like to read. It's about the cold war and how the Canada vs USSR hockey series changed the cold war and the game of hockey. It's about 400 pages. Seems like a good book. Right now I'm reading "Searching for Bobby Orr". I also want to read "By the numbers" by Scott Morrison. That will be interesting.
I have these two books both written by Scott Young called Boy on Defence, and A Boy at the Leafs Camp. They kind of go with eachother, very good books I've read them both several times.
